Throughout my academic studies and research work, I have gained substantial experience designing and managing research projects. Alongside my qualitative expertise, both online and offline - including ethnographic fieldwork, conducting semi-structured interviews, and surveys -I have also built some experience in quantitative, mixed, and digital methods.

Using these approaches, I have examined collected data through thematic analysis, statistics, or a combination of both, in order to clearly communicate insights and translate findings into actionable change. My roles have encompassed both primary and secondary research, involving end-to-end studies for clients of all sizes across various sectors, such as law firms, engineering companies, not-for-profits, disability service providers, and creative agencies.

During each project, I have conducted workshops with clients to understand precisely what they wanted to know and how I could help them achieve their goals. I maintain individualised research approaches and questions suited to each company, undertaking interviews, transcription, and analysis myself. I then prepare the dissemination of findings for various parties involved—developers, stakeholders, consumers, and other audiences—through tailored reports and presentations.

These findings have been used to build an understanding of the market, a company’s position within its sector, consumer needs and wants, and employee insights. Consequently, the discoveries were adapted into practical adjustments to company policies, practices, branding, marketing, services, and the development of new products. Some of my projects have also included background research and cataloguing work.

I am currently a PhD candidate at Curtin University where I am a HDR Fellow, TikTok Cultures Research Network (TCRN) and a Research Student, Influencer Ethnography Research Lab (IERLab)

I am the recipient of a Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship and participant of the 2023 Digital Media Research Centre Summer School at QUT and 2024 Visuality, Culture, Methods PhD School at Tallin University.
